How to join our pre-school

St Helen's Pre-school welcomes children from two and a half to four years of age and can accept government funded places from the age of three.

Please read through our prospectus, before completing and returning the registration form to Tricia Pillay, the Pre-school Manager. Please also contact Tricia if you wish to visit the pre-school to look around. Address and telephone details are found on the Contact Us page.

There is a non-refundable registration fee of £5.00.

Pre-school clothing

We do not have a compulsory uniform but we understand the importance for children to feel part of a group, prepare for the idea of a school uniform and, most importantly, feel able to play freely with paint and glue without spoiling their best clothes!

At the moment, we are able to offer new starters a free polo shirt and padded fleece jacket, which will allow access to the outside play area throughout the winter months. Sun-hats are available for children to borrow during pre-school sessions.

Please clearly mark your child's garments so that they can easily find them on the coat stand. We recommend hanging a ribbon or colourful piece of fabric from the coat loop.

If you would like to order further garments please complete this order form and give to Yvonne, with a cheque made payable to St Helen's Pre-school.
